Smoked salmon, orange and wasabi vinaigrette salad

A simple salad can become a real treat if dressed correctly. Here is a proposal that is sure to delight lovers of fresh and vibrant flavours: Smoked Salmon, Orange and Wasabi Vinaigrette Salad.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 200 grams of mixed lettuce
  • 1 spring onion
  • 200-250 grams smoked salmon
  • 2 oranges
  • 12 walnuts
  • Wasabi vinaigrette
  • Black sesame seeds


  1. Prepare the special wasabi vinaigrette and set aside.
  2. Wash and drain the salad greens. Chop the spring onion into julienne strips and add to the salad bowl.
  3. Cut the smoked salmon into pieces and set aside.
  4. Peel the oranges and remove the segments.
  5. Shell the walnuts and chop them.


Serve a bed of lettuce with the onion, orange segments, smoked salmon and walnuts. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and dress with the wasabi vinaigrette.

Blood orange and smoked cheese salad

We are pleased to enjoy Valencian blood oranges in various culinary preparations, taking advantage of their juiciness and sweet flavour with a touch of acid. One of the most exquisite ways to enjoy them is in this Blood Orange and Smoked Cheese Salad.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 200 grams of lettuce sprouts
  • 2-3 blood oranges
  • 40-60 grams of smoked cheese
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 8 walnuts
  • 3 sprigs of coriander
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Worcestershire sauce (Perrins)
  • Salt


  1. Wash and drain the lettuces well and keep them in a cool place to maintain their freshness.
  2. Peel the spring onion and cut into thin slices. Peel the walnuts and chop them.
  3. Peel the blood oranges roughly and collect all the juice they give off to prepare the dressing.
  4. Cut the cheese into thin slices with a fruit peeler or a sharp knife.
  5. Peel and dice the avocado.


Collect the juice from the oranges and put it in a bowl. Add two or three times its volume in extra virgin olive oil. Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce and salt to taste. Whisk until emulsified.


Arrange the lettuce sprouts on the plates with the blood orange, spring onion, cheese, walnuts and chopped fresh coriander.Finish by dressing the salad with the blood orange vinaigrette and serve immediately.
