Frost and intense cold have been the main features, affecting both inland areas and the daily activities of the local population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arrival of a mass of cold air from the Arctic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This sharp drop in temperatures has coincided with the arrival of a mass of cold air from the Arctic, which has affected much of Spain during the first few days of the year.
