Today (13/10/25) marks a new beginning in the citrus calendar of the Cocalni cooperative. With the arrival of October, the first harvesting and handling work has begun on the Ruby and Orogros mandarins, the varieties that officially open the 2025/26 season. This start symbolises the cooperative's ongoing commitment to the quality, freshness and excellence of Valencian produce.
The first batches of these varieties stand out for their intense colour, fresh aroma and perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, characteristics that make them favourites for the start of the season. At Cocalni, harvesting is carried out according to criteria of ripeness and quality control that guarantee an optimal product for the domestic and international markets.
The start of the season also represents the effort and dedication of the entire team that forms part of the cooperative: farmers, technicians, and warehouse staff. Each season reinforces the values that define Cocalni —tradition, sustainability and teamwork— and renews its commitment to Valencian citrus farming, the pride and driving force of our region.
