Día de San José. Fallas 2025.

Happy Saint Joseph's Day and a great day of Fallas 2025

The 19th of March is a date marked on the calendar of all Valencians and lovers of tradition. It is Saint Joseph's Day and the climax of the Fallas, one of the most emblematic and spectacular festivities of the Valencian Community. From Cocalni, we would like to congratulate all the falleros and falleras, as well as all those who participate and enjoy this festival full of art, fire and emotion.

Castellón also burns in Fallas

When we think of Fallas, we inevitably think of the city of Valencia, the epicentre of the celebration. However, in the province of Castellón there are also numerous towns and villages that live this festivity intensely, keeping the tradition alive with impressive Fallas monuments, offerings and the emotion of the cremà. Towns such as Burriana, Benicarló, la Vall d'Uixó and Almenara, among others, are filled with light and gunpowder to pay homage to Saint Joseph and bid farewell to winter with a unique spectacle.

A day of emotions despite the weather

We know that the weather has not been entirely favourable this year, but the passion for the Fallas overcomes any adversity. The devotion, effort and dedication of the falleros mean that, regardless of rain or wind, the festival shines with the same intensity. From Cocalni, we would like to send a message of encouragement to all the fallera commissions and to those who work tirelessly to make every detail of this celebration perfect.

Tradition, gunpowder and ephemeral art

Las Fallas are much more than fire and festivities. They are an ephemeral artistic expression that reflects the ingenuity and creativity of its artists. They are also devotion, with the Offering to the Virgen de los Desamparados as one of the most emotional moments of the festival. And, of course, they are a sample of the cultural identity of the Comunitat Valenciana, recognised in 2016 as Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

From Cocalni we would like to wish all falleros and falleras a day full of joy, emotion and good times. May the cremà be the perfect culmination for these festivities and may the fallero spirit continue to shine in everyone's heart. We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the Josés, Pepes, Josefinas, Finas, etc.

Happy Fallas and Happy Saint Joseph's Day!
