Between September and November, we harvest some of the most prized varieties of the mandarin and clementine family. Each has its own character, aroma and flavour, but they all share a common denominator: the dedication and care with which we work at Cocalni.
Clemenrubi (September/October)
One of the first varieties to open the season. Thin-skinned, easy to peel and with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Its intense colour and fresh flavour make it the ideal welcome to the citrus season.
Oronules (September / October / November)
An early variety highly prized for its excellent colour and juiciness. Its tender texture and sweet flavour make it one of our customers' favourites during the early months of autumn.
Loretina (September / October / November)
It stands out for its sweetness, high juice content and ease of peeling. It is a very aromatic, seedless fruit, perfect for family consumption and the domestic market.
Marisol (September/October)
An early mandarin with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Its bright orange skin and refreshing flavour make it ideal for the first days of autumn.
Arrufatina (October/November)
This variety is distinguished by its intense colour and excellent internal quality. It is a very juicy fruit with a sweet flavour and balanced acidity, making it highly valued both on the domestic market and for export.
Nero (October/November)
With a slightly later ripening period, Nero is characterised by its reddish-orange colour and intense flavour. Its flesh is firm and high in juice content, perfect for those who enjoy more pronounced flavours.
Clemenules (October / November / December / January)
The most emblematic variety of the season. Medium-sized, thin-skinned, easy to peel and sweet in flavour, it is one of the most recognised clementines in the world. Its long harvesting window means it can be enjoyed throughout autumn and winter.
